Hi,

I am Weazle (no really I’m not just sprouting names of cartoon series!). Weazley, wierdweazle these are but a few of the names that spring to mind when I’m thinking up email addresses or MMORPG account log-in details. No its not because I’m a Harry Potter fan. I am, but Weazley came up long long long before that. It’s actually from my name, Louise. (Louise>Weez>Weazle) Not that I was ever called wheeze because of asthama or anything.  But that makes a good story.

Back on to more solid facts, I’m 22 and from the good ol’ land down under. On the tubby side of healthy. I blame this on far too many things:

1. I went to university and started drinking copius amounts of alcohol.
2. I went to university 4 hours away from my family and stopped walking my dog.
3. My folks then went to the UK and going there for every Christmas break meant I had 7 straight winters in a row.
4. Started earning a bit and eating out a bit more/going to restaurants and being able to afford more rich foods to snack gorge myself on.
5. I moved on to campus (rather than the 40 minute walk away I used to live).
6. I got a car.
7. I moved off campus (and then into work) and now take my car pretty much everywhere.
8. When I went on a health binge about 2 years ago – not to lose weight, but to become healthy, I gained 3 kilos in 3 weeks.
9. Part way into said regime, I fractured my ankle and got out of walking/jogging/running that I used to do (even through uni) stoppped.
10. I am the BEST at finding excuses not to exercise.

I play way to many computer games, so its both ironic and fitting that it should get me out of this rut.
